The Government is set give the green light today for Ireland to move to phase two of the road map for reopening the economy, with some additional measures being discussed.

Many large retailers are expected to be able to reopen from Monday.

This will exclude stores in shopping centres and stores must have a street level entrance.

People will be allowed to travel up to 20km in distance and some playgrounds might also be able to open.

Last night Minister for Health Simon Harris said “all the indicators look very good” for such decisions to be taken.
