A Garda investigation is underway after a spate of parked cars were broken into and items were stolen. According to Dublin Live, The flurry of break-ins occurred last week in Portmarnock in the early hours of Saturday morning, October 13th.
It’s believed that in one area, up to 11 cars were targeted and damaged. A source reportedly said, “At least three different areas were hit in the same night. These guys don’t want to steal the cars, they’re looking for valuables. At least one person, a tradesman, is down thousands of euro after the contents of his van were stolen.”
According to a Garda source “Gardaí in Malahide are investigating a number of incidents of damage to and thefts from parked cars in the Portmarnock area. Investigations are ongoing.”
