The Tanaiste has called for resignations in Sinn Fein over the attendance at the Bobby Storey funeral.

Deputy leader Michelle O’Neill has acknowledged the funeral in June undermined public health advice.

The deputy Sinn Fein leader has said the Northern Ireland executive hasn’t been able to deliver a clear message since the controversy.

The funeral of republican Bobby Storey took place in Belfast in June, with members of Sinn Fein in the cortege procession, while huge numbers of people lined the streets.

Michelle O’Neill said it wasn’t her intention to undermine the messaging around Covid-19 but says it did.

Arlene Foster, the DUP leader has said the funeral confused the rules and messaging, and says she looks forward to the results of an investigation into the funeral.
