End-of-term school celebrations are to be restricted this year due to Covid-19.
Parents/Guardians will not be permitted to attend celebrations like nativity plays in person this year.
Instead schools are to be told to record performances so that parents can watch online.
It is also believed that The Department of Education is advising that instruments such as the tin whistle and recorder should not be played indoors due to the additional risk of infection such activity poses.
Big group gatherings like choirs should also be avoided.
Outdoor class performances may be considered as alternative options.
