208 more people have tested positive for Covid-19 here and no further deaths among patients. More than half of the new cases, 108, were recorded in Dublin.

There were 18 in Louth, 12 in Donegal, 10 in Meath, 9 in Kildare, 8 in Waterford, 7 in Cork, and 6 each in Limerick and Wexford. 24 more were spread across 12 other counties.

Meanwhile, the government has been urged to ramp up testing for Covid-19 if they want to fully re-open the economy.

Tomorrow a roadmap for living alongside the virus will be published with five tiers of restrictions in place.

Dublin is likely to see further restrictions than the rest of the country due to a higher number of new cases.

It’s led to fears that pubs may not open in the capital at the same time as the rest of the country.
