40 New Cases Of Coronavirus Confirmed In Ireland

The National Public Health Emergency Team has confirmed 40 new cases of coronavirus in Ireland today, Sunday 15th of March.

This new announcement brings to 169 the total number of confirmed cases in this country.

The NPHET announced that there are 25 new cases in the east of the country, nine in the west, and six in the south. Of the 40 new Covid-19 cases, 23 are males and 17 are females.

Contact tracing has now been initiated by the HSE to offer advice and information to those potentially affected.
