Work has begun on a new €100 million Lidl Distribution Centre in Kildare.
The development in Newbridge will create up to 2,000 construction jobs and 100 full-time positions once completed.
It will serve as a regional headquarters for the German chain and is their largest single investment in Ireland since entering the market.
The project is expected to be finished by November next year and will be the size of three Aviva stadiums.
