Jon Bon Jovi, Bruce Resnikoff, and the CEO and president of Universal Music Enterprises will be guest speakers at the event emceed by English radio personality Bob Buchmann.
The event will be held infront of the historic Capitol Recordings building, and the event will be live streamed on the Walk of Fames website.
The Walk of Fame producer, Ana Martinez, said in a statement "The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is proud to welcome Def Leppard to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, … Def Leppard has earned a permanent place not only in music history, but now on one of the most famous sidewalks in the world."
The official Walk of Fame Instagram revealed the news of the legendary rock bands star. "Rockers @defleppard to be honored with a star on the @hwdwalkoffame on Thursday, October 9 at 1750 N Vine St next to @capitolrecords," they said.

The rock band were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame back in 2019. Queen's Brian May did the honours, with the induction honouring current and past members of the rock band. Def Leppard have also achieved two Diamond albums in the US, with 'Hysteria' and 'Pyromania'.
