A woman in her 30s has been seriously injured following an alleged assault in Dublin.
Gardaí and emergency services attended an incident beside a residential property on Main Street in Belmayne, Dublin 13, shortly after 3.40pm on Monday.
The woman was taken to Beaumont Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
A family liaison officer has been appointed, while a technical examination of the scene has been carried out, according to Gardaí.
Investigating Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
Anyone who was in the vicinity of Main Street, Belmayne, Dublin 13, between 3pm and 3.45pm on Monday, September 28, and who may have video footage of the incident, including dash-cam footage, is asked to make it available to Gardaí.
