Mia Khalifa has given a hilarious response after she was spotted wearing a Bohemians jersey at a music festival.

The former adult film star, who rose to infamy after she performed one of her scenes while wearing a hijab, changed career paths drastically following her short career, becoming well known as an outspoken political commentator.

Known for her criticisms of Israel and the US, the Lebanese-born American has previously called Israel an apartheid state — something that saw her become friends with the Belfast rap group, Kneecap.

Posing for a pic with the lads following their California gig last year, Mia was spotted wearing a Bohemians away jersey and a tricolour balaclava a la DJ Próvaí.

While the Bohs jersey ended up being the most random part of Mia’s outfit, amazingly, it isn’t the only jersey of the League of Ireland club that she has; something she proved when she shared a photo of her wearing the Bohs x Fontaines DC away jersey at a Fontaines gig in the US.

The club shared the selfies Mia posted to their Twitter (X) account, but drew some criticism given her previous work. One commented: ‘Promoting porn stars now I’m sure the women’s team are delighted with this..there’s no low they won’t stoop too [sic] to try make a few quid.’

Mia responded to the post by revealing that she hadn’t known the club had a women’s team, and since Bohs are known for their collaborative jerseys, revealed that she bought three more as a result: the men’s team’s away jersey, which features Kneecap; their cup jersey, a collaboration with Massive Attack; and the women’s team’s 2025 jersey, a collaboration with Dublin’s own Annie Mac.

‘Didn’t know there was a women’s team, good lookin out, mate, thanks!’ Mia joked. ‘@BFCDublin got one for every day of the week now!’

Another asked her to name three Bohemians players (the ultimate gatekeeping question), to which she jokingly responded three of the Fontaines lads: ‘Grian Chatten, Tom Coll, Carlos O’Connell.’

Mia previously showed her affinity for Bohs when she wore a Bohemians away jersey last year in a photo with Kneecap, after the band’s Coachella set caused a stir stateside.

Wearing a tricolour balaclava and the aforementioned jersey, Mia posed alongside Mo Chara, DJ Próvaí and Móglaí Bap, who thanked Mia for coming out to the gig.
