Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators have returned with their brand new single, 'Flying Blind', the title track from their upcoming album which arrives via Gibson Records next February.
The band have also announced a huge world tour, which will include a live show at Trinity College, Dublin next year.
You can tune in to Morning Glory with PJ & JIM all week from 6am-10am for your chance to win tickets on the Nova 'Know It All'.
As for the album, which will arrive on 26 February 2027, it was recorded largely live with their longtime producer, Michael 'Elvis' Baskette, at the Studio Barbarosa in Flordia, and took approximately one week to finish, as the musicians performed together in the same room.
Speaking on the track in a press release, Slash said: “It’s a really fun, kind of spontaneous rock ’n’ roll record", adding: “It’s very straightforward and down-to-earth and raw".
He continued: “Created in the studio while we were standing there in pre-production, a riff came to me and started developing. I had nothing of that song prior to those guys coming in, and then we started up a night of rehearsal and played that riff. It came together really quickly. As for it being the first single, you never know what the first single is going to be until you’ve recorded it. When I started thinking about it, ‘Flying Blind’ just seemed to have the right kind of melodic sensibilities and a hook to make it single material".
