Leinster rugby star RG Snyman may be a scary and tough cookie on the rugby pitch, but since becoming a dad, fans have got to see somewhat of a soft side to the athlete.
The South African couple touched down on Irish soil in 2024 and have made a name for themselves over the past six years, with RG Snyman being a significant part of the Leinster team.
Rugby's RG Snyman and his wife Saskia welcomed their first child in September and have taken to parenthood like a duck to water.

Rooks Rose arrived in September of this year with both mum and dad on cloud nine, announcing the arrival of their daughter to the world on their social media.
Loving every minute of being a parent, RG is still loving his new role and has posted an array of shots of his daughter online, including the obligatory shot of dad carrying Rooks in her carrier, home from hospital.
He wrote, 'This is the best thing I've ever experienced. How amazing that I get to be her dad,' followed by a red heart emoji.

The photos certainly tugged on fans' and followers' heartstrings, with many leaving comments below, congratulating the pair stating how it is the 'best feeling in the world!!'
Another was reminded of their own experience telling the rugby star 'Brings me back to the birth of my own daughter 30 years ago, absolutely nothing else matches. The amazing feeling of going overnight from being someone's son to someone's father.'
However, there was one message that caught our attention.

Delighted for them, they said, 'Congratulations, and I feel sorry for the poor guy that she introduces as her boyfriend one day,' and we have to say we totally agree!
Congratulations, RG and Saskia.
