The campaign, titled ‘A Whopper of a Finish’, aims to reward marathon participants with a well-earned post-race treat after completing the gruelling 26.2-mile course.
With approximately 22,500 runners expected to take part, the fast-food chain is offering several ways for finishers to relax and refuel over the Bank Holiday weekend.

In partnership with Saunos Dublin in Ballsbridge, Burger King is offering marathon runners a complimentary 45-minute sauna and cold plunge session on Sunday afternoon.
Each booking covers two people, meaning participants can bring a friend along, with a free treat provided for both guests. Facilities at the venue will include changing rooms, showers and lockers.
A complimentary shuttle bus will also operate between Sussex Road Taxi Rank, beside the Clayton Hotel, and Saunos to help guests reach the venue.
Sessions will run from 1pm until 4.45pm on Sunday, 25 October. Places are limited, and advance reservations are required.
For those who would rather head straight for a post-race meal, Burger King is also offering a complimentary Whopper or Plant-based Whopper at participating Applegreen restaurants across Ireland.

Runners can claim their free burger between midday and 8pm on Sunday by presenting their official 2026 Dublin Marathon finisher medal. The offer provides participants with a chance to enjoy a meal after completing the race, whether they prefer a traditional beef burger or a plant-based alternative.
The celebrations will continue on Monday, 26 October, with a Buy One Get One Free Whopper deal at selected Burger King restaurants.
The offer will be available to marathon medal holders, giving runners another opportunity to enjoy a post-race reward over the long weekend.
