House Of Cards Cancelled BEFORE Kevin Spacey Allegations

Netflix has announced that it’s ending House of Cards after the next season, amid sexual allegations against Kevin Spacey.An actor has claimed Spacey tried to seduce him in 1986 when he was 14-years-old.

The Hollywood star is now facing criticism after apologising and coming out as a gay man in the same statement.

 

The next season if House Of Cards will be the last, with producers saying ‘it’s deeply troubled ‘ by allegations that Kevin spacey made unwanted sexual advances towards a 14-year-old actor in 1986.

The Claims from Star Trek Discovery actor, Anthony Rapp were first made to Buzzfeed News yesterday. In a statement on twitter, Kevin Spacey apologised saying he didn’t remember the incident, but if it happened it would have been ‘deeply inappropriate, drunken behaviour’. 

He also same out as a gay man in the same statement and is now facing criticism that he made the announcement to deflect attention from the allegations.

A Netflix spokesperson has confirmed the decision to end the show was made months earlier, but it was made public in the light of allegations against Spacey.
