The first trailer for Baz Luhrmann’s highly anticipated film EPiC: Elvis Presley In Concert has been released, giving fans a striking first look at rare and previously unseen footage of Elvis Presley in performance. The film, which blends restored concert clips with 16mm and 8mm archive material, promises to present the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll in a fresh and immersive way.

The film debuted to positive reaction at the Toronto International Film Festival earlier this year, where audiences gave it a standing ovation and critics praised its mix of archival treasure and cinematic storytelling. The project brings together restored performances from Presley’s iconic Vegas years in the 1970s with audio recordings that allow his own perspective to shape the narrative.

Producers Sony Music Vision, Bazmark Films and Authentic Studios have confirmed that EPiC: Elvis Presley In Concert will begin with a one-week exclusive engagement in IMAX theatres from February 20, 2026, before opening more widely in cinemas on February 27, 2026.

While specific Irish cinema dates have not yet been announced, the general international release on February 27 is expected to include Ireland’s major theatres and IMAX screens, following the global rollout plan. Irish audiences keen to experience the film on the biggest screens should watch for local listings and ticket announcements in the weeks ahead as cinemas confirm showtimes.
