Back in June, guitarist Wes Borland offered a little update on the album.

He said, “We’ve probably, in the last 10 years, been in the studio to try and complete the record, I wanna say, seven times, to different studios”.

Borland also added, “So I think he’s (Fred Durst) finally at the point now where he’s gonna pick a set of these songs that he’s finally cool with and finish ’em and we’re gonna finish the record. So, fingers crossed”.

“We probably have 35 songs recorded instrumentally, and he’s done vocals on them and then thrown the vocals away”.

Inane Clown Posse v Limp Bizkit

Last month the war of words between Inane Clown Posse and Limp Bizkit took a drastic turn, when ICP member Shaggy ran onto the stage during Limp Bizkit’s performance at the New Jersey’s Rock Allegiance Festival and tried to drop kick the band’s lead singer Fred Durst.

The attemped kick failed to caused in damage to Durst and Shaggy was dragged off stage.

Limp Bizkit’s DJ Lethal then embarked in a rant against Shaggy online.

He wrote, “Bro step up!! Man to man. No suckerstage rushing ‘I’m gonna get on TMZ,’” Lethal wrote. In a following set of comments, he dubs Shaggy a “bitchmade G,” a “wack bro” who “just got wack,” and a “bitch ass clout chaser.” Lethal also constantly goads Shaggy, writing such remarks as, “Where you at? The hospital?????”.
