The official Chris Cornell Instagram account has shared the grunge icon’s final Valentine’s Day note to his beloved wife Vicky. It dates back to 2017.
Here’s the singer’s message,
“I write this with the quivering hand that is guided by the fortunes of a heart lucky enough to know true love. My heart is a beating drum and my voice a clanging bell sounding to the world, I love you. Be mine in joy lit only by the glow of our shining love!”
Vicky Cornell wrote her thoughts about the note,
“You have my heart forever, my unending gratitude for the light you brought to my life and all the blessings that have touched my soul so deeply. My memories are filled of us. I continue to hear you whisper you are ‘never far away.’ I love you more each day……."
