Who doesn't love a juicy new thriller to sink their teeth into this spooky season? Claire Danes' brand new cat-and-mouse style Netflix series might just be the show for you.
The Beast in Me is an eight-part series fronted by Claire, who plays Aggie Wiggs, alongside Matthew Rhys, who plays a man previously suspected of murdering his wife. He moves near Aggie, a grieving author who lost her son.
The show's logline reads: 'Since the tragic death of her young son, acclaimed author Aggie Wiggs (Claire Danes) has receded from public life, unable to write, a ghost of her former self.'

However, Aggie finds inspiration in another character. 'But she finds an unlikely subject for a new book when the house next door is bought by Nile Jarvis (Matthew Rhys), a famed and formidable real estate mogul who was once the prime suspect in his wife’s disappearance,' the synopsis continues.
'At once horrified and fascinated by this man, Aggie finds herself compulsively hunting for the truth — chasing his demons while fleeing her own — in a game of cat and mouse that might turn deadly,' it ends.

Brittany Snow and Natalie Morales also appear in the series, alongside Jonathan Banks, David Lyons, Tim Guinee, Hettienne Park, Deidre O’Connell, Aleyse Shannon, Will Brill, Kate Burton, Bill Irwin, Amir Arison, and Julie Ann Emery.
The series marks a reunion between Danes and Homeland showrunner Howard Gordan who is a writer and executive producer on the show.
The Beast in Me is set to arrive on Netflix on 13 November.
