A fatal collision has claimed the life of a young man during the early hours this morning, Wednesday, December 27th.
Gardaí are investigating as a man in his late 20s was pronounced dead at the scene after he was struck by a car at Sandhill, Dunfanaghy, Co. Donegal.
The incident occurred at 4.15am; the driver of the car, a male and two female passengers were uninjured in the incident.
The scene is currently closed to facilitate an examination of the area by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
