Dermot Kennedy And Busking

Last December, Dermot Kennedy surprised fans with some special performances along the streets of New York, as well as Dublin's 3Arena. These performances helped to raise $300,000 for charities including Pieta House, MusiCares and Focus Ireland.

His performances along Washington Bush Park were streamed live via his various social media accounts.

“One of my favourite things I’ve ever done in my life…. It was a beautiful energy”, Kennedy said of the performance at the Big Apple. “My first time playing in the street in about 8 years. It was never like this though….”.

After his performances in New York, Dermot Kennedy followed this up with two performances in Dublin's 3Arena on December 11 and 13.

The singer called these performances “the most fulfilling thing I’ve done in my career yet… So much love that I cannot get into a caption”. More on this from Nova here.
