Dolly Parton's music has seen a huge increase in streams following her death earlier this week.
This comes after the music legend passed away aged 80 amid a "brief battle with cancer".
Parton's death was confirmed by her nephew, Bryan Seaver, who shared this message on social media.
"My name is Bryan Seaver, son of Cassie Parton, and I'm representing the Parton and Owens family today, announcing the passing of my aunt, Dolly Rebecca Parton Dean", he said. Sister, sis, and Granny to one generation and Gigi to the next", he said. "This video announcement is something Dolly asked of me years ago, before I fully absorbed it as a future reality".
"As her head of security for more than two decades, a role my father Larry held before me, I have imagined the heaviness of this moment but haven't truly felt it until now".
"It is an honour, an honour that is mixed with absolute pride and great sadness. But sadness lies with us, not with Dolly", he added: "Dolly has lived in the light and is in the arms of Jesus, surely met by Carl (her late husband), her parents and countless others who have watched her and longed to meet her in the heavens".
Now, it has been confirmed that Dolly Parton's streams have seen an incredible 2056% increase, with her songs streaming a total of 26.3 million times on the day of her death, compared to 1.2 million streams the previous week, according to data shared by Billboard.
For instance, hits like 'Jolene' amassed 2.7 million streams on the day of her death, while other hits like '9 to 5' racked up 2.3 million streams. Meanwhile, her duet with Kenny Rodgers, 'Islands in the Stream' gained 1.8 million streams.
Music data company, Luminate also reported that Parton's music saw an increase of 2222 per cent in US streams since her death.
