The Dublin Tattoo Convention returns to the RDS Main Hall from 24–26 October, bringing together some of the world’s best tattoo artists, live performances, and a full celebration of alternative culture.
Fresh from the success of the London Tattoo Convention at ExCeL — recently featured on BBC Breakfast and BBC London — organisers say they’re thrilled to bring that same creative energy to Ireland. “This isn’t just about tattoos — it’s a celebration of creativity in all its forms,” said event organisers. “After the incredible response in London, we’re thrilled to bring that same excitement to Dublin. It’s about people, stories, and expression.”

Over 250 tattoo artists from Ireland and around the world will gather under one roof for a weekend that blends art, music, fashion, food, and community. Visitors will be able to watch live tattooing, meet international artists, and even get tattooed or pierced at the event.
Entertainment runs throughout the weekend, including fire shows by the world-famous Fuel Girls, magician Steve Spade, and the popular Tattoo Bingo, where attendees can win a free tattoo. Beyond body art, the event features an Alternative Market offering handmade art, custom jewellery, and alternative fashion.
Guests can also enjoy food trucks, a bar area, a vintage photobooth, live graffiti displays, and even tarot card readings. A free gaming area powered by Monster Energy adds another layer of fun to what’s become one of Europe’s most distinctive cultural weekends.
Since its inception, the Dublin Tattoo Convention has evolved into a key event in Ireland’s creative calendar — uniting art, music, and individuality in one inclusive space. With thousands expected to attend, the RDS will transform into a vibrant hub celebrating tattoo artistry and self-expression in all its forms.
Tickets are available now via Eventbrite, with student passes, day tickets, and weekend passes on offer. The event is family friendly, and kids under 14 go free.
