It’s official: the Eagles have carved their name into the history of Sphere with a residency that simply refuses to end. The country rock icons have announced four additional shows at the state-of-the-art Las Vegas venue, extending their already monumental run to a total of 52 shows.
This new batch of performances, scheduled for late February, follows previously confirmed dates in October, November, and January. When the last note rings out on February 28, the Eagles will have played across 26 weekends, to well over a million fans, setting a new Sphere record. The previous benchmark was held by Dead & Company, who clocked in at 48 shows.
It’s a staggering feat, and one that speaks to the enduring, cross-generational pull of their catalogue. According to promoters, the Sphere residency “offers fans the ultimate connection to the band’s legendary catalogue in an immersive experience that only Sphere can provide.”
Tickets for the 20,000-capacity venue start at $175, with general sale for the newly announced seats opening Wednesday, October 22 at 10 a.m. There’s also a tiered menu of packages, including “Experience & Hotel” and the ultra-premium “VIP Experience & Hotel” at $1,451. The latter features prime seating with guaranteed full-screen view, priority entry, two nights at The Venetian Resort, airport transfers, commemorative keepsakes, and that all-important laminate and lanyard.
The Eagles’ extended run cements the Sphere’s growing reputation as a proving ground for legacy artists. U2 opened the venue in 2023 with a 40-show run, followed by Phish, Kenny Chesney, Backstreet Boys, and Dead & Company. Coming up: Zac Brown Band in December and No Doubt in May 2026.
The Eagles, meanwhile, seem intent on dominating the venue’s record books for as long as they choose to occupy it. Their residency has already been defined by sold-out crowds, pristine soundscapes, and an experience that takes advantage of the Sphere’s breathtaking 360-degree LED screen and cutting-edge acoustics.
It’s not lost on anyone that this is more than a concert run, it’s a victory lap. A band whose songs have soundtracked entire lives is now setting attendance records in one of the most technologically advanced venues on Earth. And they’re not done yet.
