What? Coppers is set to become a musical? Is this even real life? Get your wallets out quick!

Copper Face Jacks: The Musical‘ is about to hit the stage and we cannot believe what we are hearing.

Written by none other than, Paul Howard, the musical will be surround a girl from Kerry and a boy from the bright lights of Dublin. You can surely see where this is going…

Dubbed to be just like Moulin Rouge but with slow sets, the comedy will be taking place on July 5th in The Olympia Theatre.

The musical is a celebration of a club that started out life as something of a ‘Culchie Embassy’ in Dublin but has since been embraced by its home city, as regardless of your county colours you’ll always find a welcome (and a slow-set plus a nurse… and if you’re lucky both together) in the club that has become synonymous with having a good time for three generations of Irish night clubbers.

Can love conquer all as these two young sweethearts face massive cultural and linguistic hurdles on their road to happiness/Croker? Only time, some great tunes, a cast of puppets and a bunch of cloakroom tickets will tell!

Copper Face Jacks: The Musical is the second in Paul Howard’s trilogy of musicals with his third Dermot Bannon: The Opera due out next – oh Dermot!!

Do not miss the chance to catch this live – it promises to be an absolute howl.

Copper Face Jacks: The Musical, tickets from €28 plus booking fee will go on sale Friday, March 2nd 2018 from Ticketmaster.ie.
