Netflix's Black Doves saw immense success when it launched on Netflix in 2024 - and we finally have a first look at the next season!
The TV series sees Hollywood star Keira Knightley take on the role of protagonist Helen Webb, starring opposite Ben Whishaw's Sam Young.
In the trailer, Keira is back in action as a spy, although this time she's also a Prime Minister's wife, so the stakes are higher than ever. Here's what we know about the season, which also stars an Irish actress...

A longline for Black Doves season two reads: 'Helen (Keira Knightley) is still betraying her nation’s secrets to the covert organisation she serves: the Black Doves.
'But after the misadventures of last Christmas, and with her husband Wallace (Andrew Buchan) preparing to become Prime Minister, she is walking a more treacherous line than ever.
'As Helen’s enigmatic handler, Mrs Reed (Sarah Lancashire), is ensnared in a ruthless plot to undermine her position in the Black Doves, Helen is reunited with her best friend Sam (Ben Whishaw).'

It continues: 'The once high-end triggerman is now reduced to lonely drinks in Soho bars and low-rate hits.
'As they search for answers, loyalties are weaponised, trust is shattered, and the fight to protect the people they love could cost everything.
'With all the explosive wit of Series 1, Helen and Sam’s mission leads them back to old friends and enemies, through the dark decisions and painful sacrifices of their pasts, and right to the heart of the Black Doves.'

Season two will comprise six episodes, and each will be an hour long.
Netflix announced that Black Doves, which is produced by SISTER and Noisy Bear, would return at the Edinburgh TV Festival.
In a teaser clip for season two, Keira and Ben were seen at a festive bar sipping some bubbly when she says: 'Here's to Black Doves season one.' Ben then says: 'Don't forget season two, darling.'

The co-stars then each unwrap a bullet, signifying even more drama and thrilling content to come.
Pretty soon! Black Doves: Season 2 will premiere on Netflix on 5 November, 2026.
