Florence Welch, known globally as Florence + The Machine, has announced two major Irish shows as part of her Everybody Scream tour next summer. The artist will perform at Thomond Park in Limerick on 27 June and Marlay Park in Dublin on 28 June, marking her long-awaited return to Ireland.
The dates come as part of a wider UK and European tour celebrating the release of Florence’s upcoming sixth studio album, Everybody Scream, due out on October 31. The tour will also see her headline major venues including two nights at London’s O2 Arena, the Accor Arena in Paris, and Tauron Arena in Krakow, before closing with a special show at the Edinburgh Summer Sessions.
Tickets for the Irish dates are priced from €69.90 to €85.90, and will go on sale on Friday, 31 October, at 9am. They are subject to a 12.5% Ticketmaster service charge per ticket (capped at €10.50).
Support for the Irish leg will come from Rachel Chinouriri, while Paris Paloma will join the remainder of the European tour.
The announcement follows the release of Florence’s new track “Sympathy Magic”, unveiled yesterday alongside a striking video directed by longtime collaborator Autumn De Wilde. The song — written and produced with Danny L. Harle and Aaron Dessner — serves as the final preview before Everybody Scream arrives this Friday. It follows the album’s title track “Everybody Scream” and “One of the Greats”, both of which have received widespread critical praise.
Florence co-wrote and produced Everybody Scream over the past two years, collaborating with Mark Bowen of IDLES, Aaron Dessner, and Mitski. The album’s themes were shaped by a period of deep reflection following a life-saving surgery during her Dance Fever tour. She has described the new material as exploring “the limits of the body, healing, and the mystical process of recovery” — a journey steeped in folk horror, spirituality, and witchcraft.
Over the course of five acclaimed albums — Lungs (2009), Ceremonials (2011), How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful (2015), High As Hope (2018), and Dance Fever (2022) — Florence + The Machine has cemented a reputation as one of the most powerful and visionary forces in modern music.
Her work has earned multiple UK and US No.1 albums, numerous awards, and a reputation for transcendent live performances. Florence’s concerts are known for their theatrical power, emotional intensity, and ethereal visuals — qualities that have led her to headline festivals and collaborate with icons such as The Rolling Stones, Lady Gaga, and Taylor Swift.
She has also published Useless Magic, a book of lyrics, poetry, and illustrations offering fans a glimpse into her creative world.
