Gardai are investigating an alleged assault on a man in Ballyfermot in Dublin after being confronted by so called ‘paedophile hunters’.
He was targeted on the street yesterday afternoon and attacked.
Gardai say the actions by such groups are a cause of concern as they have the potential for violence and could affect future criminal proceedings.
The encounter was filmed and posted online.
