German Shepherd Puppy Seized At Dublin Port

Revenue have seized a puppy at Dublin Port. Officers at Dublin Port took custody of a puppy when they stopped and questioned two UK nationals.

The women who were travelling to the UK did not have a pet passport for the dog, nor was it microchipped or vaccinated. The German shepherd puppy is now in the care of the DSPCA.

Also yesterday Revenue officers seized over 4,000 cigarettes and a small amount of herbal cannabis when they carried out a search of a private residence in Co Wexford.

The 4,400 unstamped cigarettes, branded ‘Excellence’ have a retail value of more than €2,500 and represent a potential loss to the Exchequer of nearly €2000.
