Guns N'Roses played a live cover of New York Dolls 'Human Being', in tribute to their late frontman David Johansen.

Johansen died back in February aged 75, with his daughter confirming that he had been diagnosed with cancer five years earlier. Just weeks before her death, Johansen paid homage to his fans for their fundraising support following his cancer diagnosis.

Guns N'Roses had previously recorded the New York Dolls' track for their 1993 covers album, 'The Spaghetti Incident?'. The band performed the track live at a concert in Abu Dhabi last Tuesday (May 27).

Check this out below.

When The New York Dolls' split up in 1976, David Johansen went on to forge a hugely successful solo career, including opening up for The Who, before venturing to the alter ego Buster Poindexter in the 1980s, a singer who performed regularly with Saturday Night Live, including sharing the hit 'Hot Hot Hot' in 1987.

Elsewhere, Johansen enjoyed a prosperous acting career, appearing alongside Bill Murray in the festival classic, Scrooged in 1988. He also featured in Let It RideMr. Nanny and The Adventures of Pete and Pete.

As part of their tour, Guns N'Roses also shared a new video of footage showing their frontman Axl Rose falling on stage. Check this out and Nova's report.
