Helena Bonham has joined Steve Coogan in the cast for season four of The White Lotus.
The actress has joinedthe new season of the HBO series, as well as new additions Marissa Long and Chris Messina, as well as Caleb Jonte Edwards, Alexander Ludwig, and AJ Michalka.
The White Lotus, which is written by Mike White, looks at the exploits of the guests and staff during a week at a fictional luxury resort hotel known as The White Lotus.
Season four of the series is to take place in the French Riveria, in Saint-Tropez.
Further details regarding the new season have yet to be confirmed at the time of writing.
It has previously featured names like Aimee Lou Wood, Jason Isaacs, Walton Goggins, Sydney Sweeney, Aubrey Plaza, and the son of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Patrick Schwarzenegger.
Natasha Rodwell, Jennifer Coolidge, and Jon Gries are the only actors to have featured in more than one series of the show are, .
Steve Coogan is renowned for starring in The Day Today in 1994, before going on to feature in several TV series including Knowing Me Knowing You With Alan Partridge, I’m Alan Partridge and most recently How Are You? It’s Alan (Partridge).
Coogan has also recently starred in the film, Saipan, which looks at the famous row between former Rep of Ireland captain Roy Keane and manager Mick McCarthy ahead of Ireland's 2002 World Cup campaign. McCarthy is portrayed by Coogan.
The film recently received 12 nominations ahead of this year's IFTA Awards ceremony, which takes place on February 20. Other movies to receive nominations include Christy, Blue Moon, and Four Mothers. More on this here.
Helena Bonham Carter has previously starred in Corpse Bride (2005), Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street (2008) and Ocean’s 8 (2018). She has also starred at Bellatrix Lestrange in the popular Harry Potter film series.
