We have seen and heard of the crazy inflated rent prices circulating the country at the moment.

With each and every day there’s a new advert which takes us by surprise, be it by price or the fact that you’re a thirty-something-year-old sharing a bunk bed for €400 per month.

Madness.

But the crisis has left people in serious desperation with many landlords taking complete advantage of the current situation.

And today, was another one of those moments where we had to take a second to digest the information in front of us.

An advert running on Daft.ie is advertising a room share in Dublin City, but it’s no ordinary room share – it’s also a bed share!

Advert, Housing Crisis Has Hit A New Low With THIS Daft Advert

The listing for an apartment on George’s Street describes a small room, with just enough space for a double bed to fit.

However, the listing states: “May require bed sharing and is suitable only for easy going tenants.”

The bed will be shared with a man in his mid twenties who already occupies the room, and the rent will set you back €250 per month for the share.

Appalling. Have you any rental nightmares to share with us?
