It was reported that early in the sale there was a virtual que of 30,000 people.
Matchroom Sport chairman Eddie Hearn said that they expect the event to sell out and described the sales as "incredible."
Taylor's fight will mark the first boxing match in Croke Park since Muhammad Ali's fight with Alvin Lewis in July 1972. Taylor told RTE that this fight will be the "most iconic moment of my whole career."
Speaking to Radio Nova's roving reporter, Louise Ducrocq, Taylor said that she is "so grateful" for all of the people who spent "their hard earned money, travelling around the world" to watch her fight, and that she can't wait to hear the "ole ole ole" chant again.
Taylor continued to say that it will be an "emotional night" for her and that she will have to "hold back the tears" as she steps into the ring for one last time.
