Ghana fans revelled in frustrating England after the final whistle as Thomas Tuchel's side were held to an underwhelming 0-0 draw at the World Cup.
Just days after impressing in a 4-2 victory over Croatia, England struggled to break down a disciplined Ghana side in Foxborough, producing a flat display that left supporters disappointed and handed the Black Stars plenty to celebrate.
As the players left the pitch following the stalemate, jubilant Ghana supporters could be heard taunting England with chants of "It's not coming home" and "You're going home".
One fan, celebrating the result, declared: "England, it will never come home."
The draw leaves both nations well placed to reach the knockout stages, but it was Ghana's supporters who appeared happiest with the outcome after watching their side frustrate one of the tournament favourites.
The match itself failed to live up to expectations, with neither team managing a shot on target during a forgettable first half. England dominated possession but struggled to create clear-cut opportunities against Carlos Queiroz's well-organised defence.
The best chance of the game fell to Harry Kane late on after substitute Nico O'Reilly headed against the crossbar.
However, the England captain blazed the rebound over the bar from close range in an uncharacteristic miss.
England also failed to capitalise on their traditional strength from set-pieces, while Tuchel's changes from the bench were unable to spark the breakthrough that many expected.

The game was also notable for the reaction to Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey, who was loudly booed by sections of the crowd.
Partey is due to stand trial next year on seven counts of rape and one count of sexual assault, allegations he denies.
While the result was a disappointment for England, it does little to damage their hopes of progressing from Group L. Tuchel's side remain on course for the round of 32 and will conclude their group-stage campaign against Panama at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Saturday.
For Ghana, meanwhile, the draw felt like a victory. Their disciplined defensive display earned a valuable point against one of the tournament's strongest squads and sparked joyous celebrations among supporters, many of whom took great pleasure in reminding England fans that football, for now at least, is still not "coming home".
