Liam Gallagher has hinted that more Oasis shows could be on the horizon, saying that there are "loads more classics" which could be included on future setlists.
The band finished their mammoth reunion tour last weekend in Brazil, which included 41 show across five continents. They have since confirmed that they will take a pause to reflect on this tour.
Now, Liam Gallagher has replied to several X/Twitter users who have been asking him if Oasis will return to the touring road, with some fans even asking about setlists which have stayed the same during their reunion shows.
“There’s loads more classics we need to play for you when we go out again,” Gallagher said in one tweet. “I mean happy Christmas.”
The singer then replied to a proposed list of tunes for the next tour from another fan, writing: “Defo doing [‘The] Hindu Times’, ‘Colombia’ [sic] and ‘Go Let It Out’. I mean happy Christmas".
He was then asked if Oasis would include their 2008 single ‘The Shock Of The Lightning’ on any future shows, wo which he replied: “Defo doing that I mean happy Christmas".
When a user asked Gallagher what he wanted for Christmas, he responded: “A European tour.” Oasis did not play any shows in mainland Europe this year, following their dates in the UK and Ireland.
“I’m allowed to dream just like you. I’m mad for OASIS touring Europe,” LG continued. “It’ll be BIBLICAL. I love Europe it’s my favorite country [sic].” He once again claimed that ‘Columbia’ from ‘Definitely Maybe’ would make it onto the setlist “on the next tour”.
After being told by another fan that this tour was “easily up there with the greatest tour of all time”, Gallagher wrote back: “Until the next 1 I mean thanks".
Earlier this month, Liam Gallagher also spoke about going teetotal for these reunion shows. More on this from Nova here.
