Lisa Smith has been released on bail from Limerick Prison. She Left Limerick prison in a van at five o’ clock yesterday evening.
The former defence forces member from Dundalk is on remand as she awaits trial on terror-related charges.
Lisa Smith was granted bail by the High Court on the 19th of December – but has only now taken it up.
She was given the extra security because of the high level of attention her case has been getting.
The van brought her to an undisclosed location in Limerick City, where she met with her family.
She awaits trial charged with membership of an illegal terrorist organisation.
