A man has died following a fire at an apartment in Stoneybatter.
Firefighters rescued him from the building off Benburb Street at around nine last night, where paramedics tried to save his life.
However, he was later pronounced dead at the Mater Hospital.
Gardai say the cause of the fire is under investigation.
