For the past month Metallica has been challenging their fans to vote for their greatest track by setting up a bracket tournament online.
And now the results are in…and “Master Of Puppets” has taken the top spot.
The title-track taken from the band’s 1986 album faced off against ‘Dyers Eve’, ‘Atlas’, ‘Rise!’, ‘Ride The Lightning’, ‘Sad But True’, and ‘Fade To Black’ in the fan vote.
Taking to their official Instagram the band wrote:
“The people have spoken and single song stands alone above the rest. Your champion is – drum roll please – Master Of Puppets!
