The former Smiths frontman has already announced a headline show at the O2 in Greenwich for next February. He has recently announced that he will be adding more dates for the months of February and March across Europe.
Morrissey's European tour will kick off in Denmark, then he will head to Luxembourg and the Netherlands before his show in London. After, he will perform across Spain, France, Switzerland and Italy.
According to a recent social media post, posted to Morrissey's account, venue presale tickets will go on sale Thursday, November 27th at 10am local time. Spotify will also launch presale tickets that will be released at the same time. Fans can access these tickets by using the password ' MAKEUP'.
General tickets go on sale Friday, November 28th at 10am local time.
September of this year saw Morrissey cancel two shows in the US due to "a credible threat" to his life. He was due to play at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut, and a gig at MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston, however both were cancelled due to "recent events" at the time. Although the post did not specify any details of the cancellation, it came in the wake of the assasination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
More recently, Morrissey quietly cancelled South American shows this month due to "extreme exhaustion." He shared a short message to his website after the cancellation, he wrote "I know it’s gonna happen someday" alongside several emojis of the Mexican flag.
