Noel Gallagher has confirmed he is back in the recording studio.

The 57-year-old shared the update without offering further details, stopping short of confirming whether the sessions are tied to his solo work or a potential return to the studio with his brother Liam Gallagher.

The news comes off the back of last year’s hugely successful Oasis reunion tour, which reignited global interest in the band and fuelled ongoing rumours of more to come.

With both brothers reportedly open to future collaborations, fans are already speculating that a new stadium tour—and possibly new music—could be on the horizon.

It could lead to the band's first new music since 2009.

Speaking to TalkSPORT about the Manchester City revival that now sees the Citizens favourites to lift this season's Premier League trophy, Noel made the admission to Andy Goldstein.

Following their chat about Pep Guardiola's side's victory over title rivals Arsenal, Andy asked Noel how things were in his life. Noel told the host: "Everything's great.

"I'm in the studio noodling away. It's all good." Andy tried to push him for more information, but Noel remained coy - and sarcastic - in his response.

While music remains firmly on the agenda, Noel Gallagher has also been enjoying life away from the stage.

The songwriter was recently spotted at a private two-hour appointment with renowned fragrance designer Azzi Glasser at her London atelier, where he reportedly stocked up on luxury perfumes and scented candles.

Adding to the buzz, Oasis have also been nominated for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, a major milestone that further cements their legacy as one of the most influential bands of their era.

The nomination recognises the band’s lasting impact on global music, from defining the Britpop movement to producing era-defining hits like Wonderwall and Don’t Look Back in Anger.

Liam Gallagher has revealed that his 'mummy' Peggy urged him to put his long-running criticism aside and attend the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2026 ceremony, where Oasis are set to be inducted.

The Manchester band will officially enter the Rock Hall at a ceremony in Los Angeles on November 14, after making it into the performer category on their third nomination, having previously been shortlisted in 2024 and 2025.

Liam, who has repeatedly dismissed the institution in the past, suggested he may have even “manifested” this year’s induction through what he described as “reverse psychology vibes.”
