Spanning every corner of the live landscape, from stadium shows, arenas and Fresh Irish acts to festivals, theatre, comedy and sport, the Ticketmaster Awards recognise the events, artists and productions that brought Ireland together for a brilliant night (or day) out.
The Ticketmaster Awards are voted for by you, giving fans a say on their top live moments of the year. Every fan who votes is also entered for the chance to win a €250 Ticketmaster Gift Card. Voting is open now and closes on Sunday, 1 February at 11:59 p.m. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, 3 February.
Here are this year's nominees!
International Act of the Year nominees include Charli XCX, Dua Lipa, Justin Timberlake, Lana Del Rey, Oasis, Olivia Rodrigo, Robbie Williams, Sam Fender and Zach Bryan.
For Irish Act of the Year, the shortlist features Amble, CMAT, Damien Dempsey, Dec Pierce, Fontaines DC, Inhaler, Kingfishr, Kneecap, Soda Blonde and The Corrs.
The Festival of the Year category celebrates All Together Now, Bord Bia Bloom, Borderline, Electric Picnic, Emerge, Farmer’s Bash, Forbidden Fruit, In The Meadows, Kaleidoscope presented by Glenveagh, Longitude, Paddy Power Comedy Festival and Púca Festival.
Nominees for Sporting Event of the Year include the Aer Lingus College Football game between Kansas State and Iowa State, Belfast Giants v Cardiff Devils Challenge Cup Final, Dublin Horse Show, the GAA Football All-Ireland Final between Kerry and Donegal, the Glen Dimplex Camogie All-Ireland Finals featuring Galway v Cork, Ireland v England in the Six Nations, Leeds United v AC Milan, Leinster v Munster in Croke Park, the Munster GAA Hurling Championship Final between Limerick and Cork, the NFL Dublin Game featuring the Minnesota Vikings v Pittsburgh Steelers, Republic of Ireland v Portugal, Republic of Ireland WNT v Belgium at Aviva Stadium, and WWE Smackdown Live in Dublin.
The Theatre and Arts Show of the Year category includes Book of Mormon, Jeff Wayne’s Musical Version of The War of the Worlds, Little Shop of Horrors, Moulin Rouge, Riot, Riverdance, The Dubliner’s Encore, The Ferryman, The Shark Is Broken, The Weir, and Torvill & Dean: Our Last Dance.
Nominees for Intimate Gig of the Year are Caribou, Dermot Kennedy, DJO, Kim Deal, Matt Berninger, Men I Trust, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Sturgill Simpson.
In the Comedian of the Year category, nominees include Dara Ó Briain, Greg Davies, Joanne McNally, John Bishop, Kevin Hart, Paul Smith, Rhod Gilbert, Rosie O’Donnell, Shane Todd and Taylor Tomlinson.
The Fresh Irish Music nominees spotlight Aaron Rowe, Adore, BIIRD, Curtisy, Florence Road, KhakiKid and Maria Somerville.
For Podcast or Talk Show of the Year, nominees include An Audience with Stephen Gerrard, An Evening with President Barack Obama, An Evening with Racing Icons Mika Häkkinen & David Coulthard, Bad Friends, Celebrity Memoir Book Club, Malala Yousafzai: Finding My Way Book Tour, Roy Keane in Conversation with Roddy Doyle, Senator Bernie Sanders and Dr. Jane O’Meara Sanders in Conversation, and Tea With Me.
Finally, the Arena Gig of the Year category features Andrea Bocelli, Billie Eilish, Bob Dylan, Ed Sheeran, Hans Zimmer, Katy Perry, My Bloody Valentine, Pitbull, Pulp, Sabrina Carpenter and Tyler, the Creator.
