Oasis have warned fans over possible ticket scams ahead of unique access codes being sent over for their upcoming 2027 tour.
The band took to social media to share this advice, as successful applicants for tickets are to receive emails with their individual codes from today (September 24).
“Important: We have been made aware of possible Oasis ticket scams,” they wrote on social media. “As ticket information and unique codes are about to be distributed, please remain vigilant. Scammers may attempt to impersonate Oasis, our mailing list or our ticketing partners".
They also stated that anybody who is promising codes which were not sent to you directly from Oasis are "not genuine", adding that kosher emails will only come from the email address: oasis@openstageit.com.
The band added: “Any codes that are offered for sale are fraudulent and will not enable you to buy tickets".
They went on to say that code emails will only be sent out between Thursday September 24 and Sunday, September 27. Fans who were selected will receive an email using the same name and email address which they had registered, and it will include a unique, personal code directing them exclusively to Ticketmaster. This code is non-transferable.
The codes will only be valid for their allocated city and on sale time. The email address attached to the Ticketmaster account used to buy tickets must also match up with the one used to register for tickets.
Fans have also been advised not to reply to any messages asking them to pay for a ticket code, requesting a password or card details, or that asks them to make any payment or directing them to any website other than the official Ticketmaster site.
Ticket registration for this tour has also closed, with Ticketmaster once again stating that signing up does not guarantee a code or ticket.
