The images have fuelled speculation that Oasis could be preparing to announce a major Irish concert at the iconic venue.
Fans have also noted similarities between the new image and a famous photograph associated with Oasis’ first appearance at Slane in 1995.
The band are expected to reveal further details on Monday, although neither Oasis nor Slane Castle has officially confirmed a concert.
Speculation intensified after a touring schedule circulating online last week appeared to include several possible dates at Slane in August next year.
Those dates have not been verified, and there is currently no official confirmation that the band will play the venue.
A return to Slane would nevertheless be a major homecoming for Oasis, who have already enjoyed a hugely successful reunion in Ireland.
More than 160,000 fans attended their two sold-out Croke Park shows last August as part of the Live ‘25 reunion tour.
The concerts marked Oasis’ first Irish performances since their previous appearance at Slane in 2009.
The band have also been teasing potential locations elsewhere, with cryptic posts linked by fans to cities including Glasgow, Paris, Amsterdam, Boston and Rome.
Knebworth has also emerged as a possible destination as speculation continues to build around the group’s next run of shows.
For now, fans will have to wait for the band’s next announcement to discover whether Slane Castle is indeed on the itinerary.
