The Beatles member is giving the Irish actor a raving review for his role as Ringo Starr before the biopic is released.
In a recent interview with TMZ, Starr was asked what he thought of Keoghan portraying him in the upcoming films. He reportedly came to the conclusion that he is "in good hands."
In preparation for the film, Starr revealed that he didn't do a masterclass for Keoghan to nail down his portrayal, instead he went over to his house where they spent time together and talked like "real people."
After their meet up, the Beatles drummer seemed confident that the Saltburn actor would not let him down.
The four-part biopic is directed by Sam Mendes, and Keoghan will star alongside Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney and Joseph Quinn as George Harrison.
In February of this year, Sony Pictures released photos of the cast in full costume.

The upcoming films set to be released April 2028, portray the life and career's of The Beatles. Also satrring in the films is award-winning actresses Aimee Lou Wood, Saoirse Ronan, Mia McKenna-Bruce and Anna Sawai as Pattie Boyd, Linda McCartney, Maureen Starkey and Yoko Ono, respectively.
