Rod Stewart feels "that'll probably be it" for him when it comes to touring, when he finishes off his 2027 UK tour.

The singer, who has been performing his farewell tour since 2024, has been on the road for more than six decades, having performed with the Faces and the Jeff Beck Group. He turned 81 in January.

Stewart has 20 shows left in the US this year, as part of his tour, and looking ahead to next year, the singer feels he may finish off on the road following his UK run in 2027.

“Then I’m touring the UK next year, doing The O2, and that’ll probably be it, I think,” he said. “I’ll have to do something new, come on your show more often, maybe".

At the time of writing, Stewart had yet to announce any UK dates for next year.

Back in October last year, Rod Stewart had hinted that he may retire soon, having said that "all good things come to an end".

While he did state the idea of quitting does not sit too well with him, the Maggie May singer added this.

“I still enjoy what I’m doing. I love it,” he said. “You can tell it’s written all over my face. Absolutely love it.” Yet even amid the enthusiasm, there was a flicker of realism. “But all things have to come to an end,” he admitted.

In more recent news, Rod Stewart was spotting heaping the praise on King Charles following his meeting with US President, Donald Trump, with the singer hailing the monarch for putting "that little rat bag in his place".

At an event in London which marked the 50th anniversary of the King's Trust, Stewart could be heard telling King Charles: “You were superb. Absolutely superb. You put that little ratbag in his place".
