Smashing Pumpkins are back with details of their forthcoming double-album ‘Cyr’.
Taking to their official social media the band made the announcement with the 20 track record set for release in November.
Back in August the band released two songs from the album “Cyr” and “The Colour of Love.”
“‘Cyr’ is dystopic folly,” frontman Billy Corgan said in a statement. “One soul against the world sort of stuff, set against a backdrop of shifting loyalties and sped up time. To me it stands as both hopeful and dismissive of what is and isn’t possible with faith.”
The band last released new music in 2018, called SHINY AND OH SO BRIGHT, VOL. 1 / LP: NO PAST. NO FUTURE. NO SUN.
