Met Éireann has issued Status Yellow weather warnings for five counties ahead of a spell of heavy rain and strong winds Tomorrow.
A wind warning for Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick and Waterford will be in effect from 1pm to 9pm, with forecasters warning of strong gusts that could cause difficult driving conditions, fallen branches and coastal flooding. This warning takes effect from 1pm tomorrow and will remain in place until 9pm.
A separate rain warning has been issued for Cork, Kerry and Waterford for the same period, with heavy rainfall expected to bring the risk of localized flooding and poor visibility.
After a largely dry and bright Monday, conditions will deteriorate on Tuesday as heavy rain spreads northeast across the country. Temperatures will remain mild, reaching 17°C to 20°C, before showers and blustery conditions follow overnight.
More unsettled weather is forecast for Wednesday, but conditions are expected to gradually improve later in the week, with drier and more settled weather likely by the weekend.
