Here at Nova we love to get out and about during the festive season…
There is nothing more relaxing and enjoyable than spending time with your nearest and dearest, sipping hot chocolate all the while wrapped in your winter woolies.
But every now and again, we might get a dose of cabin fever, wanting to venture into the elements for some festive cheer.
So here we are sharing our top tips for some Christmas fun with you!

Drive-In Cinema: If you’re a movie buff but fancy a change of location from your local multiplex, Retro Drive In at Leopardstown Racecourse might be an idea. Not only are they showing festive classics including Love Actually, Home Alone, Elf and Santa Claus: The Movie they also have the world’s biggest outdoor LED screen to boot!
Carols by Candlelight, National Concert Hall: Like your Christmas carols but not in the mood for them being bashed by your local choir? Well the National Concert Hall is doing carols in full 18th century costume with a candle-lit style setting. Even the most ardent Christmas grinch among us couldn’t help but be swept into the festive spirit after this concert. Click here for more info.
Winter Funderland: Winter Funderland has become a permanent fixture on the festive calendar here in Dublin (as you would imagine after forty plus years at the RDS). They now also have a Christmas market, when you fancy a break from all the adrenaline fuelled rides. For more info click here.
