LATE-NIGHT TRAINS will be running across Dublin and surrounding commuter routes over the next three weekends and on New Year’s Eve, as Iarnród Éireann extends services to help passengers enjoy the festive season safely.
The extended schedule will see the DART and commuter trains operating on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, including services to and from Maynooth, Dundalk and Kildare. Security personnel will be on board all late-night trains to ensure customer safety during these busy periods.
Specific added services include:
00:30 and 01:30 from Pearse, serving all stations to Howth
00:35 and 01:35 from Connolly, serving all stations to Greystones
00:40 and 01:40 from Pearse, serving Tara St, Connolly, and all stations from Howth Junction to Dundalk
00:27 and 02:10 from Pearse, serving all stations to Maynooth
23:55 and 01:58 from Pearse, serving all stations to Drumcondra, and all stations from ParkWest to Kildare
Late-night services will also run after New Year’s celebrations in Dublin city centre, with trains operating around one hour later than pre-Christmas late-night services.
Fares will be charged at normal rates. Passengers are reminded that journeys departing after midnight on the journey planner will be displayed on the following date. Full timetable information is available on the Irish Rail website and via the Irish Rail app.
