The Strokes have decided to entertain themselves, and us, while staying apart and staying at home.

The boys have launched an online video series titled Five Guys Talking About Things They Know Nothing About.

Hosted on Zoom, the band described the show as a “private radio show thing” and say, “Like many out there we are staying pretty much at home and keeping to ourselves.”

The Strokes singer Julian Casablancas, guitarists Nick Valensi and Albert Hammond Jr, bassist Nikolai Fraiture and drummer Fabrizio Moretti, have also debuted a new song, “Brooklyn Bridge To Chorus.” from their forthcoming album, The New Abnormal, that is out Friday, April 10 and is their first in seven years.

The New Abnormal is The Strokes’ sixth studio album and was recorded at Shangri-La Studios in Malibu and produced by Rick Rubin. The album’s cover artwork is a painting by Jean-Michel BasquiatBird on Money.

The video for “At The Door,” the first track released from the album, premiered during the band’s performance at Senator Bernie Sanders’ University of New Hampshire rally.
