Three people have been charged following a major Garda operation targeting suspected organised crime, brothel keeping, money laundering and organised prostitution in Dublin.
The operation was carried out by the Garda National Protective Services Bureau (GNPSB) in areas of Dublin 24 and Dublin 1 on Monday, August 10.
A number of specialist Garda units were involved in the operation, including the Garda National Economic Crime Bureau, the Garda National Bureau of Criminal Investigation, the Garda National Cyber Crime Bureau and the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau.
Members of the Dublin Crime Response Team and the Garda Dog Unit also assisted during the operation.
Three individuals were arrested as part of the investigation.
In an update issued on Friday morning, An Garda Síochána confirmed that all three have since been charged and are due to appear before Dublin District Court.
Gardaí said the three are scheduled to appear before Court 4 of the Criminal Courts of Justice this morning.
The investigation remains ongoing, with Gardaí continuing to make enquiries as part of the operation targeting suspected organised criminal activity.
